HUBBALLI,Nov 27: The South-Western Railway (SWR) has announced special trains between Hubballi and Kottayam from December 2 to January 21 for the convenience of devotees visiting Sabarimala.
Trains No 07305 Hubballi-Kottayam Special Express (eight trips) will leave Hubballi on Saturdays at 10:30 am, from December 2 to January 20, and it will reach Kottayam at 8:15 am the next day. In the return direction, Train No 07306 Kottayam-Hubballi Special Express will leave Kottayam at 11:00 am on Sundays (eight trips from December 7 to January 21), and reach Hubballi at 9:50 am the next day.
The train will pass through Davanagere, Tumkuru, SMVT Bengaluru, Whitefield, Salem, Palakkad, and Ernakulam.
Train No 07307 Hubballi-Kottayam Express Special will leave 11:00 am on Tuesdays (seven trips from December 5 to January 16), and reach Kottayam at 8:15 am the next day. Train No 07308 Kottayam-Hubballi Express Special will leave Kottayam at 11:00 am on Wednesdays (seven trips from December 6 to January 17), and reach Hubballi at 9:50 am the next day.
