Hubballi-Gadag Journey Turns Costlier, Thanks To Toll Plaza!

Hubballi, April 9:Hubballi- Gadag Commuters Vent Ire Against Hike in Bus Fare

The Gadag- Hubballi journey in state owned NWKRTC buses have become expensive all of sudden. This has left daily commuters irked.

After the NWKRTC has Rs. 15, citing the toll charges, the commuters are paying Rs.75 to the journey of 60 kms.

The common-men, who are in distress due to uncontrolled price rise of daily essential goods, are now venting ire against the Govt.

The new toll plaza has come up at the Nelvadi village on the Hubballi suburb.

NWKRTC’s move to transfer the toll charges to the commuters has drawn flak.

  1. I was shocked to see Toll charges from Hubli to Gadag Rs 175/- this is too high, I don’t understand where government is spending road taxes collected and N number of taxes collecting..? It is not fair government is looting where ever possible, City roads are not good condition but government deploys police to collect fines and harassment to public…We need to fight for the accountability, there should be a committee involves public for approval for govt spending money….. instead of wasting money for vote bank politics and giving freebies…. this should be stopped, so that everything comes into control.

  2. It’s becoming a business toll for fastag …… if u don’t buy fastag near toll …. the gate fess will increase 175 to 250rs for gadag
