6 Men Arrested for Selling Ganja

HUBBALLI, Nov 27: In a bid to make Hubballi-Dharwad drug-free twin cities, the police department is more vigilant on drug peddlers here.

The police, in three separate cases, have arrested six men who were allegedly selling ganja in Hubballi-Dharwad and recovered 415 gram cannabis, 5 mobile phones and two bikes on Saturday.

The Keshwapur police have arrested five persons while Dharwad police have arrested one accused. Three accused were allegedly selling ganja near Chaitanya Techno School and two accused were involved in peddling cannabis near Oxford College.

Similarly, Dharwad police arrested a man for selling ganja in Kolikeri. A case has been registered in this regard in Dharwad town police station.
