Hubballi, March 05: Dr Sharan Hallad, of the Suchirayu Hospital run by KLE Institute, has conducted about 1,000 successful open heart surgeries in the shortest period of time in North Karnataka, drawing the attention of the medical fraternity towards him.
At a time when many people depend on hospitals in cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai and Chennai for such operations, Dr Hallad has worked at giving the facility at the KLE Suchirayu Hospital. This has improved the level of medical facilities available in the region too.
The 1,000 surgeries Dr Hallad has conducted include multi-vessel bypass surgery, heart valve replacement, congenital cardiac problems and aneurysms. The upgraded technology used by Suchirayu Hospital gives a new ray of hope to cardiac patients.
Dr Amit Sattura has said that Dr Hallad’s achievement is a matter of pride for North Karnataka. The medical fraternity only hopes that his services reach more and more people.
