HUBBALLI, Sep 01: Social Media influencer Sahil Bande was attacked and robbed of mobile phone and scooter at knife-point near SM Krishna Nagar in the limits of Kasabapet police station in Hubballi on Saturday night.
Speaking to Hubballi Times, Sahil Bande said that the incident occurred when he was going to meet his friend Waseem in SM Krishna Nagar.
“Three persons approached me on a bike on the pretext of asking address. The moment I slowed down my Honda Dio, one of the riders hit me hard. Then the other two started snatching my mobile phone. When I tried to resist, they put a knife on my throat and threatened to kill me if I don’t give them mobile phone and scooter. They then took off my scooter and iphone,” he said.
The Kasabapet police have registered an FIR in this regard and launched the investigation.
