The Centre has said to Supreme Court on June 13 that a decision has been taken to cancel the score-cards of 1,563 NEET-UG 2024 candidates who were awarded grace marks. The government said that these 1563 students will be asked to take a re-test.
This decision affects 1,563 students who were given grace marks. These students will have an option to appear in the NEET UG 2024 re-test. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that it will conduct the re-exam for these candidates on June 23, with the results set to be released before June 30.
These students will be eligible to attend in the counselling rounds which is set to be conducted on July 6th.
The Supreme Court further said that everyone cannot apply for retest. Only those candidates whose time was reduced can apply for this retest.
