Dharwad, July 24: Considering the relentless heavy rains, schools and colleges across Dharwad district will be closed on Thursday and Friday, July 25 and 26; said Deputy Commissioner Divya Prabhu.
According to a release issued by the DC office, “In view of the health and safety of children the DC has ordered to declare holiday for all Anganwadis, Pre-Primary, Primary, High School and PU Colleges in Dharwad district on July 25 and 26 due to continuous rain and winds.”
The DC has instructed the DDPI and the DDPU to compensate these holidays by conducting extra classes on the next public holidays.
