HUBBALLI: The Hubballi Police have booked a Bank Manager and seven others on the charges of committing fraud.
In a complained filed in Keshwapur Police Station by a bank employee Sudhir Kulkarni accused preceding Bank Manager of SBI Madhura Colony branch Sandhya TC of Rs. 35 Lakh fraud.
Sumitra Kondapalli, Lakshmi Yaragunti, Vidyavathi Holdura, Parameshwarappa Melinamani, Mareppa Madara, Nagamma Kareppa & Ajaz Ahmed have been namd as accused.
It is alleged that Sandhya TC sanctioned the loan of Rs. 5 Lakh each to 7 persons after creating fake documents in 2019. All the debtors have failed to repay the loan, Kulkarni said in the complaint.
