HUBBALLI, March 19: Check-post staff have seized Rs 3.82 lakh unaccounted money at Sulla Road Cross check-post in the City on Monday.
According to HDMC Commissioner Dr. Eshwar Ullagaddi, who is also assistant returning officer, the cash was seized by the check-post staff as it was being transported without documents.
Majistrate Ramajan sab Killedar and his team who were on duty on the check post inspected a car which was heading to Hubballi from Kiresur.
While checking the car, they found the money with one Om Prakash who was transporting the money without documents. The cash has been seized.
