Pramod Muthalik Visits Violence-Hit Old Hubballi

HUBBALLI,April 22: Sri Ram Sene Chief Pramod Muthalik visited the violence-hit Old-Hubballi and Hanuman temple at Diddi Oni on Friday.
Addressing reporters, he said, “The violence was a pre-planned activity. People from all parts of the City had participated in the violence. More than 1000 people should be arrested. We are ready to give the names,” he said.
“Policemen took risks and controlled the situation. I appreciate their efforts. District Congress President Altaf Halwoor and Muslim leader Altaf Kittur should also be arrested,” he urged.
“What is there in a (WhatsApp) status. This is just a reason for the violence. Attacking a temple shows Ghazni-Gori mindset,” he expressed.
“We will give May 9 as the deadline to remove loudspeakers from mosques. Later on, bhajan programmes would begin at the temples,” Pramod Muthalik warned.
