Hubballi, July 02 : A fraudulent message of giving a job opportunity lured a man and made him to lose 67,160 rupees.
A case has been registered in Cybercrime police station stating that – Sultan Firoz, a resident of Gurunath Nagar in Hubballi received a WhatsApp message from an unknown that – “Up to 8,000 rupees can be earned by doing a part-time or fulltime job sitting at Home “ .
Later two links were shared deceiving Sultan Firoz to believe that he can make profits from the products shown in the link. With this, 67,160 rupees was transferred to an unknown account in installments by him and the transferred money was blocked later by the fraudsters.
