Hubballi, February 22: An attempt was made to stab and kill a man who was a witness in a case in Nekar Nagar Road, Kalmeshwar Nagar.
Imran Muniyar, of Old Hubballi, has stabbed Yuvaraj Kulal, a businessman in Nekar Nagar, who is a witness in a case against Muniyar at the Old Hubballi police station.
Muniyar had apparently earlier threatened to kill Kulal, On February 18, he stopped Kulal, who was traveling on his motorbike, got into an argument with Kulal, again threatening him against giving witness in the case. He then stabbed Kulal, said the Old Hubballi police, who have registered a case in this regard.
