HUBBALLI, July 26: Land slide had occurred between Dudhsagar and Sonalium Section and trees were fallen between Londa – Tinaighat section affecting the train services.
The authorities of South Western Railway ordered relief material from Castle Rock for restoration works. Sufficient number staff with rescue team cleared the tracks.
According to the railways, following train services were affected: –
- Train No. 17310 arrival 01.00 am at Sonalium backed to Kulem Station.
- Train No. 17419 regulated at Londa from 01.40 am onwards.
- Train No. 17309 regulated at Alnavar from 01.55 am onwards.
- Train No. 12780 regulated at Belagavi from 01.35 am onwards.
- Train No. 17321 Vasco – Jasidih Express is rescheduled to leave from Vasco at 07.50 am.
Senior Officers led by SWR General Manager Arvind Srivastava, ADGM K S Jain and Principal Heads of Departments were monitoring the situation closely. DRM Harsh Khare also supervised the restoration works.
