HUBBALLI, Mar 19: A new MRI machine has been installed in the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) here and will be available round the clock for patient service.
Earlier the MRI machine at KIMS was under private management with KLE Institute. The contract has now been expired due to which MRI scanning was not possible there.
Subsequently, a new MRI machine has now made available for patient service. 20 to 25 MRI scans are being done everyday from 9 am to 9 pm.
The director of Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, S.F.Kammar has requested in the announcement that the patients should take advantage of this.
