Notorious Rowdy Banished From City

DHARWAD, Mar 19: The Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissionerate, which has continued their crackdown on rowdy elements, has banished one more rowdy from the City.

According to a release from the office of Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissioner, 30-year-old Irfan, alias Chota Irfan, a resident of Tejasvi Nagar in Dharwad has been banished from City for six months to Yadgi City police limits.

He was allegedly involved in threatening and assaulting public. According to police, he was convicted in a murder case and stayed in jail as well. He is also convicted in attempt to murder case.

There are many complaints registered against him in Vidyagiri Police Station, Dharwad town police station, and even in Kalaburagi police stations. Despite being behind the bar, he has continued troubling people, the police said in a release.

In a bid to curb his influence and ensure the safety and peace in the City, the police have exterend him to Yadgir for six months.
