HUBBALLI, July 17: The Town police have arrested 13 persons who were allegedly involved in selling and buying ganja in the City.
The arrested are native of Miraj and Davangere.
Based on a tip off that two persons were selling ganja, the police rushed to the spot to arrest the ganja peddlers.
The police seized 1.127 kg ganja worth Rs 1.15 lakh, motorbikes, cash and mobile phones from the accused.
The police also arrested 11 locals, who were buying the banned stuff from the peddlers.
Investigation is on to know the further source.
