HUBBALLI: A 59-year-old man died when he slipped while de-boarding a running train at SSS Hubballi Railway Station on Sunday night.
The decease has been identified as Rangaraju, a superintendent engineer at Karnataka Rural Infrastructure Development Ltd.
Rangaraju had reportedly booked a ticket to Davangere from Belagavi-Bengaluru Express train. But, by mistake, he boarded the Rani Chennamma Express. After realising, he tried to de-board from the Rani Chennamma express.
Accidentally, he slipped and his leg stuck between the platform and the train. Consequently, Rangaraju suffered serious injuries and succumbed to the same.
