DHARWAD, June 4: District election officer Divya Prabhu briefed the media persons about the counting status at Dharwad Media Centre.
BJP candidate and sitting MP Pralhad Joshi is leading with around 25,544 votes. So far he has secured 1,53,976 while Vinod Asuti of Congress has bagged 1,28,432 votes.
Among the top performing independent candidate, Shakeel Ahmed Mulla has garnered 1,540 votes, Raju Naikwadi 879 votes, and Javeed Balgaumkar 814 votes.
1220 voters have given their votes to NOTA so far.
