HUBBALLI, April 22: Fakir Dingaleshwar Swami, the head of a Lingayat mutt in Shirahatti, on Monday withdrew his nomination.
The seer had filed nomination as an independent candidate in Dharwad constituency.
The Seer had been rallying local seers to raise a banner of revolt against union minister Pralhad Joshi, the BJP candidate from Dharwad constituency.
Pralhad Joshi is in the fray for fifth term after successfully contesting four terms.
