DHARWAD: Dharwad’s positivity rate on Friday stood at 4.9 per cent. The district health department on Friday, June 11, 2021; has released a report on taluk wise covid positivity rate.
As per the report, the Covid positivity rate of Hubballi stood at 5.19 per cent, Dharwad 3.94 percent, Navalgund 2.46 per cent, Kalghatgi 1.4%, and Kundgol 1.09 per cent.
However, the death rate of the district is refusing to come down. In the month of April, 77 people died of Covid-related complications, while the toll increased to 267 in May. Similarly, in June, till 10th, 73 people have succumbed to the deadly infection. In all, 1046 people have lost the battle to coronavirus in the district.
