DHARWAD, April 01: A Helpline Center for District Voters which has been in the view of Lok Sabha elections is getting good response from the public as the voters are getting informative solutions to their queries, said District Election Officer Divya Prabhu.
In a release, Divya Prabhu said that this helpline center, which has been started in the District Election Control Room, is functioning round the clock (24 x 7). A total of 6 staff members have been appointed to handle calls from the public. Senior KAS officer Jayalakshmi Rayakoda has been appointed as district nodal officer to supervise the helpline.
Individuals living within Dharwad district limits, if they have any queries regard election, can dial 1950 to call the voter helpline.
