Gokul Road Police Recover 11 Stolen Motorcycles Worth Rs. 7,80,000. 2 Arrested

HUBBALLI, April 11: In a major crackdown, the Gokul Road police in the City have arrested two accused and recovered 11 Stolen Motorcycles Worth Rs. 7,80,000 from them.

Arrested have been identified as Prakash Kamble, (37) a resident of old Ambedkar Colony in Athani, and resident of Honnalli in Vijayapura district Vishnu alias Vigya alias Vishnai Nandyala (40).

Details of the Case:

A resident of Vidyanagar in Hubballi Nagaraj had filed a complaint on February 11, that his Honda Shine bike which was parked in front of Basaveshwar Khanavali in Dollar Colony on Gokul Road in Hubballi was stolen.

The police recovered the stolen Honda Shine bike from the accused. Apart from this, they recovered 3 motorcycles which were stolen in the Gokul Road police station limits, 3 motorcycles stolen in the jurisdiction of Old Hubballi Police Station, 1 motorcycle stolen in the jurisdiction of Hubballi Vidyanagar Police Station, 1 motorcycle stolen in the jurisdiction of Bendigeri Police Station and 2 motorcycles stolen in Vijayapur city.

In all, they recovered 11 motorcycles worth Rs. 7,80,000 and produced the accused to the court.

A team of Gokul Road Police Station, lead by Inspector Praveena Neelamma, PSI D. Y. Mavinandi, ASI G.C. Rajput, RR Honkanadavara, CT Naduvinamani, VS Gudageri, and others participated in the operation.

Commissioner of Police Renuka Sukumar has appreciated the efforts of Gokul Road police.
