HUBBALLI, May 27: The Hubballi-Dharwad police conducted surprise checks at the houses of rowdy-sheeters in the limits of Bendigeri police station at around 5 am on Monday, May 27.
According to a press release issued by the commissioner office, the raids were carried out on the houses of Rohit Kalal, Ismail Bhardwale, Fazal Punewale, Vinod Gudihal, Sahil Chaddha, Pradeep Kogod, Puttaraju Kogod and Dawalsab Punewale in the limits of Bendigeri police station.
The cops warned them against involving in narcotics sale, illegal activities, criminal activities, rowdyism, and against roaming with lethal weapons.
The police warned the rowdy-sheeters that if at all they get involved in rowdyism, they will be externed.
During the raid, the police arrested Abhishek Bhajantri and Arun Halagi. The duo was wanted in two separate cases.
A team of cops led by Bendigeri police inspector Maruti Gullari participated in the raid.
