 ‘Chigari’ to Take ‘Rest’ for 3 Hours Today

HUBBALLI, Mar 1: The service of BRTS buses Chigari will be suspended from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Friday (March 1) due to Vice President of India’s visit to the twin cities.

According to North-Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) Hubballi-Dharwad city transport divisional controller H Ramanagoudar, vehicles of Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar and other VIPs would move through BRTS corridor between Hubballi and Dharwad. Therefore, Chigari movement will be suspended from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm today.

This decision is taken as per the instruction from the Police Department, and passengers are requested to co-operate, Ramanagoudar added.

The Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankar is scheduled to inaugurate the Central Learning Theater, Resource Knowledge, and Data Center at IIT Dharwad campus at 2:30 PM and EYESIRI, a super specialty eye hospital of MM Joshi Eye Institute in Hubballi at 5:00 pm.
