HUBBALLI, Feb 29: Twin cities of Hubballi-Dharwad would face disruption in water supply due to maintenance work, said a release from the department.
Maintenance work of the main pipeline that connects Hubballi-Dharwad to the Malaprabha water source via Amminabhavi Water Purification Plant has been scheduled on March 1 and 2. Also, there would be power plant up gradation and other maintenance works will be taken up.
Subsequently, there will be no water supply to Hubballi on March 1 and Dharwad will experience a complete water supply disruption on March 1 and 2.
The KUSEMPS executive engineer has urged the public to cooperate and store sufficient water in advance to manage inconvenience during the disruption period.

Sir I am in Nisarga Layout next to Kalyan nagar,we get water once in six days,you have given us the intimation today thar there will be no water in hubli and Dharwad on 1st and 2nd of March, our tanks are empty and we were desperately waiting for water tomorrow, further I would request you to reduce the number of days we have to wait for supply,please supply water once in four days
