HUBBALLI, Aug 24: In a tragic incident near Kiresur village in Hubballi taluk, three people, including a child, lost their lives when their Omni car’s tyre burst, causing the vehicle to collide with an oncoming lorry.
The deceased have been identified as residents of Manglapur village in Koppal taluk. They belonged to the same family. The victims are Jaffar Sab Mangaluru (60), Mustafa (Saheb) Mangaluru (36), and Shoaib Mangaluru (06).
Three others were seriously injured in the accident and have been admitted to SDM Hospital.
A case has been registered at the Rural Police Station.
