HUBBALLI, Aug 27: A 15-year-old boy was reportedly sexually assaulted in Kasabapet Police Station limits in Hubballi recently.
The police have arrested Masoom Hulamani (24) for sexually assaulting the boy.
The accused was working as a construction labourer. A case has been registered against him at Kasabapet Police Station under the POCSO Act.
In another case, a minor boy lured a minor girl with chocolate and sexually assaulted the girl in Kasabapet Police Station limits in Hubballi.
When the girl went to a grocery shop, the accused boy followed her and offered her chocolates and sexually assaulted her.
After knowing the incident, local residents assaulted the boy and the video of the assault went viral on social media.
Kasabapet police have registered a case under POCSO Act in this connection.
