DHARWAD, Aug 28: Six youths have been arrested for uploading morphed images of a group of girls on Instagram and for demanding money to delete the photographs.
According to a complaint, six youths had downloaded the complainant’s and six other friends’ (girls) group photographs from Instagram, morphed the image and posted obscene messages. They later demanded Rs 15,000 to delete the morphed photographs.
Based on the complaint, the Sub-Urban police nabbed the accused.
