HUBBALLI, Aug 26: In a joint operation conducted by Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissionerate and Mines & Geology Department against illegal sand transportation; four vehicles were seized near Gabbur cross in Hubballi on Monday.
The operation was conducted at Gabbur Cross, where vehicles involved in illegal sand transportation were inspected. During the inspection, four vehicles without proper permits were seized.
Police Inspectors Ali Sheik, Geologist Bindan Patil and other police personnel participated in the operation.
