DHARWAD: The Russia Ukraine war has entered 9th day. Hundreds of Kannadiga students are still stranded in war zone.
Out of 4 Dharwad students who were stranded in Ukraine, 2 of them have reportedly crossed the border. They may arrive to India shortly, said Dharwad DC Nitesh Patil. But rest 2 of them have gone incommunicado, he said.
The Govt of India has intensified Operation Ganga to evacuate Indian nationals from Ukraine.
7115 Indian citizens, including 149 Kannadigas, have been brought back to India so far.
