Traffic Restrictions Ahead of Amit Shah’s Visit to Hubballi Tomorrow

HUBBALLI, April 30: The Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissionerate has announced route diversions for vehicular movements as Union Home Minister Amit Shah would address an election gathering at Nehru Stadium in the City on Wednesday, May 1.

According to the police, commuters must avoid Channamma Circle, Sangolli Rayanna Circle, Chitaguppi Circle, Ambedkar Circle, Station Road, and Koppikar Road from 3 pm to 9 pm.

Restrictions to KSRTC Buses:

KSRTC buses coming from Gadag side will be terminated near RPF office on Gadag Road. The buses will start their journey from RPF office itself, instead of reaching bus stand.

Other vehicles will move via Pinto Circle, Desai Cross, Cotton Market, and Hosue Cross. No vehicles will be allowed to enter Hubballi city after 3 pm.

Similarly, buses coming from Navalgund side will be terminated and start back at Sarvodaya Circle in Keshwapur. Other vehicles will be passed through Desai Cross, Cotton Market, and Hosur Cross.

Buses coming from Karwar Road will be terminated near Karwar road under bridge and and the buses coming from Bengaluru side will be terminated at Gabbur cross.

Heavy goods vehicles will not be allowed to enter Hubballi city from 1 pm to 9 pm.

  • Navalgund Road:  Near Sarvodaya Circle
  • Bengaluru Road:  Gabbur Circle
  • Dharwad Road:    Hosur Bus Terminal
  • Karwar Road:       Near Karwar road under bridge
