Three More People Die of Covid-19 In Dharwad Dist, 29 In ICU

HUBBALLI: Three more people have died of Covid-19 in the Dharwad district, officials said on Sunday, April 19, 2021. This puts the total Covid-19 fatalities in the Dharwad at 649.
A 70-year-old woman is among the deceased. She had reported Influenza-Like Illness (ILI) and had a cough. She had been suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure and Chronic Liver Disease. She was admitted to a private hospital on April 12 and died three days later.
The second victim is a 69-year-old man suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI). His symptoms were cough and breathlessness. His co-morbidities were high blood pressure and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). He was hospitalised on April 13 and died two days later.
The third victim, a 65-year-old man, was also a case of Influenza-Like Illness (ILI). He had a fever and cough. His comorbidities were diabetes, high blood pressure and Ischemic Heart Disease (IHD). He was admitted to a private hospital on April 10 and he died on April 16.
Meanwhile, at least 29 people are in intensive care in the district. Only Bengaluru Urban (134), Kalaburagi (109), Kolar (44), Tumakuru (42) and Mysuru (40) have more serious patients.
