Stones Pelted on Bengaluru-Dharwad Vande Bharat Express

DAVANGERE, July 05: Stones were thrown at the newly launched Vande Bharat Express train when it was moving from Bengaluru to Dharwad.

 

The South Western Railway authorities have informed that stones pelted on Train Number 20661, Bengaluru-Dharwad Vande Bharat express at 8:40 AM between Kadur-Birur section by some unknown persons.

 

“Stones pelted at the window of C5 coach’s seat number 43 and 44. Outer glass of the window was damaged and passengers not injured.”

 

The authorities also informed that stones pelted at EC-1 coach toilet but passengers are safe.

 

Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat train was launched in Karnataka to connect important cities in the State on June 27.
