HUBBALLI: The South Western Railway Sports Association (SWRSA) achieved another mile stone under the leadership of Mr. Ajay Kumar Singh, General Manager & Chief Patron, Sports Association, South Western Railway during this pandemic year.
South Western Railway Sports Association becomes one among of few zonal railways that have successfully completed 24 sports recruitment for the year 2020 – 21 under all categories as detailed below:-
1. 5 Sports Persons (Bodybuilding – 02 and Powerlifting – 03) recruited under Zonal Talent Scouting Quota.
2. 4 Sports Persons (Badminton – 01, Athletics – 02 and Weightlifting – 01) recruited under Railway Board Talent Scouting Quota.
3. 15 Sports Persons (Athletics – 04, Badminton – 02, Cricket – 03, Hockey – 04 and Weightlifting – 02) recruited under Open Advertisement Quota.
Above recruitment would boost up the performance of South Western Railway in various Sports in upcoming days. The entire proceedings of selection were completed duly following COVID protocol.
