HUBBALLI: A bike rider killed on the spot while the pillion rider suffered serious injuries when the bike they were riding skidded off the road after they lost control over the two-wheeler in front of Siddeshwar Temple in the City.
According to locals, the accident occurred when the speeding bike was coming from Dharwad. Consequently, the rider killed on the spot while the pillion rider, who was severely injured, has been rushed to the hospital.
More information about the incident is yet to be ascertained.
Hubballi-Dharwad North traffic police have registered a case in this regard.
