HUBBALLI,Jan 6: In a bid to collect grievances from the residents of Hubballi-Dharwad, Congress leader Rajat Ullagaddimath has launched a helpline that too on his personal mobile number.
Speaking to Hubballi Times, Rajat said that public can contact him through his mobile number 9845166566 to air their grievances.
“I did not hire any mediators or agency to attend the calls. Instead, I have given my own mobile number so that people can connect with me directly and share their grievances,” Rajat said.
“After collecting the grievances, we will try to solve the problems with the power we have today. If we could not solve, then we will include these problems into our manifesto.”
“Already we have visited around 35,000 houses to hear public problems as part of ‘Mane Mane ge Rajat’ campaign. Now we have launched this helpline to reach out to those whom we could not meet during ‘Mane Mane ge Rajat’ campaign.
Rajat, who is a philanthropist, felicitated around 10,000 corona warriors including health workers, auto drivers, laundrymen, photographers, transgender, purohits, pastors, imams and others; distributed free laptops and notebooks under Rajat Sambhrama campaign.
It can be recalled here that Rajat is an aspirant of Congress party ticket to contest the upcoming Assembly elections.
