HUBBALLI,Jan 07: The police have arrested a youth who allegedly stabbed an on-duty police constable in Hubballi taluk.
The arrested has been identified as Suresh Bandiwad (29).
Police constable Mahantesh Maddagola (25), attached to Hubballi Rural Police Station was reportedly stabbed by Suresh on Thursday. Consequently, Mahantesh had suffered injuries on hand and chest.
Hubballi Rural Police have registered a case against Suresh and sent him to judicial custody.
