HUBBALLI: CCB police busted a prostitution racket following a raid on a house at Navanagar in Hubballi on Friday evening.
The police arrested one woman and rescued two girls from Kolkata.
The arrested has been identified as Mahadevi alias Nivedita. She has been accused of calling girls from other states and pushing them into flesh trade.
Based on a tipoff, CCB police conducted a raid and arrested the woman. The victims have been sent to a women’s relief center.
Inspector Altaf Mulla and his team conducted the raid. APMC-Navanagar police have registered a case in this regard.
