Hubballi,June 03 : An Incident of an Undertrail Prisoner tried to escape by jumping the wall of Vishweshwar Nagar Sub Jail has been reported Saturday evening.
The escapee is an inquisitor of a case of Kalaghatagi taluka of Dharwad district. He tried to escape in the evening noticing no one and jumped from the prison wall and tried to hide near Nrupatungabetta.
Later, Ashok Nagar Police chased him, recaptured and surrendered him to the Prison Officer.
