HUBBALLI,May 12: Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) has safely pulled down a dilapidated overhead water tank near Paraswadi area of Keshwapur in Hubballi on Thursday morning.
It was a surprise element for the residents of nearby area after they saw the tank on the ground this morning. A few residents called Hubballi Times, saying “Water tank fell due to gusty wind and rain!”
Speaking to Hubballi Times, HDMC Commissioner Dr. Gopal Krishna B, clarified that the tank was structurally unstable. Therefore, the HDMC staff pulled down the tank safely.
