HUBBALLI,May 12: The Hubli Electricity Supply Company (HESCOM) suffered a loss of Rs. 50 lakh due to the thunderstorms last week.
In the first week of May, over 340 electric poles were uprooted & 13 transformers were damaged due to heavy rains & thunderstorms.
While 288 electric poles are re-erected, 13 transformers are being replaced. The HESCOM has suffered a loss of Rs. 50 lakh due to this.
