DHARWAD, April 20: In an unfortunate incident, a sector officer of Hubballi Dharwad West Constituency has died of heart attack while on duty at around 1 pm on Saturday.
The deceased Krishnamurthy B.R was an Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of Hubli Electricity Supply Company LIMITED (HESCOM). He was deputed as a sector officer as a part of election duty.
Native of Davanagere, Krishnamurthy had served in various districts of North Karnataka for many years.
He is survived by wife Dr. Nagaratna, a dentist at Government Hospital in Kittur, and son Swaroop.
Election Officer Divya Prabhu, Priyanga M., HESCOM Managing Director Mohammad Roshan, General Manager Siddu Hulloli and others condoled the death of AEE Krishnamurthy.
