HUBBALLI, April 19: BJP and various other organizations have demanded that Home Minister G.Parameshwar should apologize immediately over his statement related to Neha Hiremath’s murder.
The protesters staged a protest in front of Eradettina Mutt in the city and said, ‘It is condemnable that a minister in a responsible position has made an irresponsible statement. They expressed outrage that he is doing politics even in the death of a student.
MLA Mahesh Tenginakai said, ‘You call love jihad and terrorists brothers. Is it an accident to term as accidental? Should a girl be killed for refusing a love proposal? Home Minister should immediately apologize for his statement, He demanded.
BJP leaders Prabhu Navalagundamath, Chandrasekhara Gokaka, Amrita Hiremath, Channaiah Chowkimath, Shivayya Hitemath and many local BJP workers participated in Neha’s funeral procession.
