Muslims’ Shops: Nuggikeri Temple Committee Holds Meeting. Here’s what happened….

Dharwad: After row over Muslims’ shops in Temple premises, the Nuggekeri Anjaneya Temple Committee Monday held a meeting of trustees.

In a meeting held at Monday 9 PM, the trustees discussed various aspects pertaining to the issue.

While right wing Hindu groups have demanded to vacate Muslim shops from temple vicinity, the civil society groups have appealed to uphold the tradition of communal amity.

The issue turned murkier after Sri Ram Sene men forcibly vacated the Muslims’ shops on Saturday. One of the shop was destroyed by the group.

The Committee will hold a press conference on Tuesday at 11 AM and will disclose the decision on Muslims’ shops.
