Hubballi: A man who had been missing for 10 years returned home recently and, furious to find his wife now living with someone else, stabbed his wife’s partner.
Hanumantha, a resident of Chalavadi Oni of Unkal village, had left his wife 10 years ago. After much hunting too, apparently, nobody could find him.
A couple of days ago, however, Hanumantha returned, unexpectedly. When he went home, he found his wife living with Ningappa, which upset him terribly. He stabbed Ningappa in the stomach but, finding Ningappa bleeding profusely, ran away from the place.
Hanumantha’s wife and children rushed Ningappa to KIMS Hospital, where, after being treated, Ningappa is said to be out of danger.
Vidyanagar police have registered a case.
