Hubballi, Nov 24: Miscreants transferred Rs. one lakh from a stolen mobile phone belonged to a man from Kalghatgi village.
According to CEN police, S D Ugnikeri of Yalavdal village in Kalghatgi taluk lost his mobile phone in a bus near Hosur Circle in Hubballi. When he reactivated a duplicate SIM card, he got messages saying that a total Rs one lakh was transferred from his bank account in three transactions.
A case has been filed with Sub-urban police station.
