HUBBALLI: A middle aged man was stabbed in broad daylight nearly thickly populated old bus stand here on Saturday.
The injured has been identified as Basheer Ahmed Hanchinmani, a resident of Naregal in Gadag district’s Ron Taluk. He was selling tender coconuts near Hubballi old bus stand.
According to locals, a group of miscreants approached him on Saturday afternoon, stabbed in the stomach. The injured was rushed to KIMS for the treatment.
More information about the incident is yet to be ascertained.
Town police have registered a case in this regard.
