Maintain Law and Order in the District: Home Minster Instructs Police
HUBBALLI, Aug18: In order to maintain law and order in the district, police officials need to make sincere efforts to curb criminal gangs and promote peace and harmony in society, said Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwar.
He said this while addressing a meeting of police officers held at the Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissioner’s office to discuss strengthening law enforcement.
“After a period of three months, a review meeting will be conducted to assess progress. If crime incidents do not decrease, officials will be held directly accountable and action will be taken accordingly,” he warned.
Hubballi-Dharwad Commissioner of Police, Renuka Sukumar, briefed the Home Minister about the police situation and the measures taken so far in Hubballi-Dharwad urban areas.
