DHARWAD: The district administration has permitted hotels, restaurants, and eateries to operate only for takeaways from Tuesday, June 1.
In order, on Sunday, May 30, 2021, Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil said hotels, restaurants, and eateries can be opened from 6 am to 8 am from Tuesday, June 1, to Sunday, June 6 only for takeaway. Similarly, such establishments shall be permitted to operate kitchens for home delivery of food items from 6 am to 4 pm during these days.
“A large number of people from other districts reside in Dharwad district for various reasons. Most of them are depending on hotels for food. To ease their pain, hotels shall be permitted to operate only for takeaway during the prescribed hours,” Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil said.
