Hubballi, February 26: The building that has been temporarily housing KIMS medical students was stoned late Friday night.
The KIMS administrative board has given the Infosys Dharamshala building on the premises of KIMS Hospital for residence of the medical students. Up to 136 students are staying in the place.
On Friday night, after the students finished dinner and went to bed, miscreants suddenly started throwing stones and bricks at the building. Window glasses were shattered and the debris fell on the beds.
One student was injured in the knee in the attack.
The KIMS security guards and residents of KIMS quarters, who rushed to the building, provided first aid to the student.
